Foundations of Personal Fitness is a one semester PE course completed in only 7 weeks. The basic purpose of this course is to motivate students to strive for lifetime personal fitness with an emphasis on the health-related components of physical fitness. The knowledge and skills taught in this course include the process of becoming fit as well as improving the student’s current fitness level. The beauty of taking an online PE course is that students are given the freedom to choose when, how and where he/she will exercise. This course satisfies a ½ credit needed for PE.
