United States History B

In this course, students study the history of the United States from 1929 to the Present.  Using critical thinking and technology skills students will investigate the events, people, places and issues that helped build modern America. The course is divided into five units: Great Depression, World War II, Cold War, Civil Rights Movement and Modern History. Integrated into the course are components to help students prepare for the Exit Level Social Studies TAKS exam (a requirement to graduate in the states of Texas).  This course, in addition to United States History A satisfies the United States History graduation requirement.
