2026 Out of District Summer School Registration Form

Initial Credit – Virtual School                                                      Student Information

PVS courses are taken for initial credit and instruction is asynchronous to allow students the freedom to learn on a personalized schedule. A student may take up to 4 half credits during the summer session. Tuition for initial credit is $300 per half credit ($600) per course. 

Available Courses:

• Economics
• Government
• Geometry A/B
• Music Appreciation A/B
• PE A/B
• Spanish 1 A/B
• Spanish 2 A/B
• Algebra 2 A/B

All virtual school courses will run on an extended timeline (June 1-July 20).  

• Full year courses (ex.: English 2 A/B)
  • Semester A - June 1st - 27th 
  • Semester B - June 30th - July 20th
• Single Semester Courses (ex: Government)
  • June 1 - July 24th 

Students will have their final exam proctored by their teacher through an online software like Zoom or Teams.  Students taking a Pasadena ISD virtual course will keep their assigned PISD device and return it to their campus in August for required updates and reimaging. 

Check your email daily. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder.  Email will be from Pasadena Virtual School.

Please Note the following Important Dates:

• Beginning on May 20, students will receive an email from PVS(Course, Teacher, Dates)
• Beginning on June 1^st – all students who have been enrolled will have access to their course in CANVAS.
• June 5th warning email, communication about being dropped on Wednesday June 9th.
• June 9th student who has not completed will be dropped:
  • No Login
  • No Work
  • No Communication 
  • Communication will be sent to who on the campus
• June 15th, any student who is failing below 30 or hasn't communicated
• July 3rd second session students who have not started will be contacted and potentially dropped by Summer School Admin
